2021 Public Health Related Concert Update

UPCOMING 76TH SEASON ALTERATIONS


Dear Friends,


Through our continued commitment to the health and safety of our community, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is altering upcoming portions of its 76th season, in compliance with the city of Jackson's Mayoral Executive Order related to COVID-19 concerns. January concerts have been postponed to March yielding the following schedule at Thalia Mara Hall:

  • Pops concert: MUSIC OF RICHTER & FFRENCH — Emerging classics in piano & strings Saturday, February 20, 2021 (paid subscribers for our Pops series may reserve seats between Jan 25 & Feb 18)

  • Bravo III concert: MENDELSSOHN & BEETHOVEN — Aural Scenes. Bold Artistry. String Orchestra. Saturday, March 6, 2021 (paid subscribers for our Bravo series may reserve seats between Feb 1 & Mar 4)

  • Chamber II concert: MOZART BY CANDLELIGHT — Soul warming, all-Mozart evening Saturday, March 27, 2021 (paid subscribers for our Chamber series may reserve seats between Feb 1 & Mar 25)

Single tickets for all three concerts will be available to the general public February 12th. $20 each!
