Public Health Related Concert Changes

REMAINING 75TH SEASON ALTERATIONS

Dear Friends,

Committed to the health and safety of our community, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is altering portions of the remainder of the season, due to concerns related to COVID-19:

  • Ode to Joy (Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony) Saturday, March 28, 2020 — CANCELED (this includes the March 17th screening of the film Following the Ninth)

  • Concert in the Chapel Saturday, April 4, 2020 — CANCELED

  • Pepsi Pops “ Friday, May 8, 2020 — MSO will honor CDC recommendations regarding large gatherings, but hopes to be able to hold the concert as planned, or on a later date in May. As always, we will provide updates via our website, social media and email.

MSO offices are officially closed. Although staff will be working, we encourage communication via email, as phone coverage will be limited. Visit our website for individual staff email addresses.

For ticket holders, we offer the following options:

  • Donate your tickets as a philanthropic gift to support MSO musicians

  • Free ticket exchange, from a cancelled concert to our Pepsi Pops concert (if held) or to a voucher for a future concert

To better serve you, please send all ticket related requests via email to info@msorchestra.com (instead of calling) and use "TICKET REQUESTS" in the subject line.

The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra looks forward to sharing the healing power of live music with you soon.

Sincerely,

The MSO Family
